Who I work best with:
Adult children of addicts, alcoholics & narcissistic parents
Perfectionists and people-pleasers
Folks who want to understand unhelpful patterns and show up differently in their relationships
LGBTQIA+ communities
I am a collaborative, attachment-informed therapist with a deep respect for the therapeutic relationships I build with my clients. I hope that our work together will help you live a meaningful and purposeful life, feel safe in your body, understand your behavioral and attachment patterns, and be kinder and gentler with yourself.
Our earliest relationships inform the way we respond to situations past and present. As adults, we may notice some of these patterns are more harmful than helpful. Through this framework, I incorporate acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), Brainspotting, internal family systems (IFS), and mindful body-based approaches into our work together.
I work well with adults looking to make sense of their identities outside of systems that discourage us from living authentically. My areas of specialty include: exploration around relationships, sex & gender; adult children of addicts, alcoholics & narcissistic parents; religious trauma; LGBTQIA+ communities; and adults in non-traditional relationship structures.
I am a queer therapist and Atlanta native. I lead with curiosity in both my personal and professional life. I seek to educate myself through the experiences of others in LGBTQIA+ communities as well as through continuing education. My practice is feminist, anti-oppressive, and sex-positive.
