Jared Beaver, LMSW

(He/Him)

Who I work best with:

  • Adolescents navigating identity development, peer relationships, and academic or social pressures

  • Individuals grappling with the complexities of chronic illness and pain

  • Individuals struggling with substance misuse, as well as those seeking additional support on their path of recovery

  • Individuals feeling overwhelmed by anxiety

  • Grievers of all kinds (due to death, loss of identity or sense of self, ambiguous grief, disenfranchised grief)

  • Families looking for family therapy related to any of the above topics

Within you lies a wealth of powerful insights, strength and solutions to the challenges you face. In our journey together, we will explore your past experiences, emotions, and how they impact your life. My primary goal is to make sure you feel truly understood and heard. I will provide steady support to help you understand what you need and offer gentle pushes to help you get there.

I enjoy working with teens, young adults, and adults of all ages who are seeking a safe and supportive therapeutic space to navigate life’s challenges. I specialize in helping individuals manage chronic illness, pain, and anxiety.  I also specialize in grief and enjoy helping clients work through losses of all kinds.

I aim to help you discover your values, deepen your self-attunement, and create a life that energizes and excites you. We’ll do this using models such as acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and somatic experiencing. I would be honored to walk alongside you on this path.
